God Will Help You Keep Your Appointments With Him

"When I encountered Jesus, He told me that when you trust the Lord, you don't need an explanation; you just obey His command."
~Kevin Zadai

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under
heaven.
—Ecclesiastes 3:1

DISCUSSION:
What the Lord has put on my heart to discuss this week is that you do not have to experience disappointments. That root word for disappointment is appointment. So dis-appointment means that there is distance or a disconnect between you and your appointment. When you miss your appointment, it becomes a disappointment. The
Lord wants to help you make your appointments with Him; you don't have to have disappointments anymore. God wants us to keep our appointments in the Spirit so we can connect with Him.

RECEIVE POWER FROM HEAVEN FOR YOUR APPOINTMENTS
And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Acts 1:7–8

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says that everything has a season and that there is a time for every purpose under heaven, which is excellent news. We can observe that even the Lord Jesus had specific times and seasons. After His resurrection, Jesus preached for 40 days on the kingdom of God (Acts 1:1–3). He said in Acts 1:7–8 that it's not for us to know and understand all the times and seasons appointed by God because they are reserved for the Father to know; they are not for us. Here Jesus is referring to subjects concerning the end times. According to Matthew 24:36–44, we don't know when Jesus will return. Even Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the angels do not know the day or the hour of when He is coming back; only the Father knows.

Jesus said in Acts 1:7–8 that we're not supposed to focus on the times and seasons reserved only for the Father to know. In the same breath, He declares that you shall receive power from on high when the Holy Spirit comes. So don't focus on what's supposed to happen next or try to figure out the timeline of the coming of the Lord. Let the Holy Spirit come upon you and be endowed with power; the Spirit will lead you to fulfill the appointments God has for you. We are supposed to be focusing on preaching the message of the gospel. This is the correction that came to me and the reason why Warrior Notes was formed. We are not called to get involved with every world event, but to focus on what God says.

o What does the Holy Spirit empower us to do, and what should we focus on?

JESUS FOCUSED ON HIS ASSIGNMENT
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Acts 10:38

There are all kinds of disappointments in the political realm and in attempting to navigate timelines of current events. There are wicked people who are manipulating the systems of this world, so God's will is not being done in that realm. In Jesus's day, it was not God's will for John the Baptist to be beheaded. Yet Jesus did not visit him in jail and didn't even try to get him delivered. Why? Because Jesus had one task at hand, which was to minister to the lost sheep of Israel. He continued to preach and went about healing everyone.

It appeared that Jesus ignored John the Baptist when he was in prison. John even sent somebody to ask Jesus if He was really the one or should they believe for someone else (Luke 7:19). Yet wasn't it true that when he met Jesus at the River Jordan, he baptized Him saying, "Behold the Lamb of God" (John 1:29–34)? Do you remember that? He announced that Jesus was the Messiah. John met his appointment during that time and season. Likewise, there is a purpose and a time for everything now. John started to wonder because he was incarcerated. He ended up losing his head over a dispute that had to do with terrible, vile people, and Jesus didn't stop it from happening (Matthew 14:1–12).

WE ARE APPOINTED FOR OUR GENERATION
God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.
Acts 17:24–27

In these days that we live in, there are certain things that we are not supposed to know. We are supposed to be preaching, helping people, and encouraging them in the truth. Acts 17:26 says that God knew and knows everyone who lived in each generation. He ordained people to live at certain times, places, and seasons. God has appointed each of us to be in the generation and season we are in; we are all known.
There are over 3000 Warrior Notes Fellowships worldwide who are all hearing this message. God called me to establish this ministry in a certain way. Everybody hears the same message every week. Each has the same study guide, prayer time, and discussions, so we are all on the same page. This brings unity. I was instructed to keep the messages brief, so there will be time to focus on ministering to people, prayer, and meeting needs. This is the ministry that God called me to do; I'm not called to figure out current events or the political realm. God is not in control of all that; He can govern us, as the body of Christ, if we give him the ability to do that.
We can submit to God, and He will move on our behalf (Matthew 6:33; James 4:7).

And as you go, preach, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is at hand." Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
—Matthew 10:7–8

Jesus only did the will of the Father (John 5:19), and God moved with Him. The Father healed the sick, raised the dead, and cast out demons through Jesus's earthly life. We are called to do likewise.

GOD WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH ACCORDING TO HIS WILL
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Provers 3:5–6

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10

Proverbs 3:5–6 instructs us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not to be moved by our own understanding. If we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He promises to direct our paths. It is clear that we must trust God. That means that we might not understand everything. I don't know everything that will happen because the devil's unpredictable. He is evil and will do what he wants to do in the world. Jesus said in John 10:10 that the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. He then declared, "I come to give you life and life more abundantly." So we know what the enemy comes to do, yet we also know what God is doing—giving life.

Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner."
John 5:19

In the realm of the world, wicked and evil people are not listening to God. They are not seeking Him or doing His will. They don't even believe in Him. Our focus should be like Jesus's; He just did the will of the Father. He did not do anything unless the Father told Him to do it. He only did and said what the Father did.

Jesus explained in John 12:49–50 that He didn't speak on His own accord. Even though He was the Son of God, He laid aside His deity and did not count Himself equal to God. He humbled Himself and became a servant (Philippians 2:5–11).

TRUST REQUIRES NO EXPLANATION
Trusting the Lord means that you don't require God to explain everything; sometimes, we just need to be obedient. We must accept that it's not for us to know all the times and the seasons, only the Father. We must accept that God knows every person, where they will live, and what generation they will be a part of, as it says in Acts 17. Sometimes, we have to be satisfied knowing that God ordained all of us to be alive at this time because He trusts us. He has a plan (Jeremiah 29:11; Romans 8:28), which doesn't involve the input of the world or satan.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

God has His own chess game going on, and He always wins: He works all things together for good. He can do what He wants to do through His people. If His people who are called by His name will humble themselves and pray, God can do anything He desires through them. We don't want to be like the Israelis who, through their unbelief, fell in the desert (Hebrews 3:16–19). We must lean on and trust in the Lord, not on our own understanding.

CENTURION FAITH
But the officer said, "Lord, I am not worthy to have You come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed. I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, 'Go,' and they go, or 'Come,' and they come. And if say to my slaves, 'Do this,' they do it."
When Jesus heard this, He was amazed. Turning to those who were following Him, He said, "I tell you the truth, I haven't seen faith like this in all Israel!"
Matthew 8:8–10 NLT

We are called to trust and obey God. When I encountered Jesus, He told me that when you trust the Lord, you don't need an explanation; you just obey His command. He told me that I must have centurion faith. He essentially taught me that this is the greatest faith you can have. The centurion didn't need the Lord to come to his house or lay hands on his servant. He knew that if Jesus spoke, His Word would be enough because he understood authority.
When I met Jesus in Heaven, He expressed that He wanted me to operate in trust and faith like the centurion. The greatest faith you can have is centurion faith, where you tell the Lord, "Just say the command, and it'll be done."

CORPORATE MINISTRY IS THE MOST HONORABLE
Jesus told me that the greatest and the most honorable ministry you can have is the corporate anointing:

• We must not allow people to focus on an individual. We are called to gather people and get them on the same page in maturity and unity.

• When believers are united, you can get them to agree in prayer. In the corporate setting, if we would all agree on anything, it shall be done for us (Matthew 18:19).

• When ministering, Jesus told me not to focus on laying hands and prophesying over individuals. He said to build everyone up, prophesy, and pray over them in a corporate setting so that the habitation of God would come into the room.

• Jesus said that focus should no longer be on the individual anointing, but the anointing of the Father in the corporate setting. The greatest ministry is when the glory of the Father comes into the room.

The Warrior Fellowships ministry has to do with all of you locally agreeing. That is the most powerful anointing—the corporate body of Christ's anointing. As we discussed, the most powerful faith you can have is the centurion faith, where you don't need a word. Even though the laying on of hands is biblical, you don't need hands laid on you. Giving prophetic words is also biblical; however, if all of us had the centurion's faith and agreed on the word of God, there would be no limits.

ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGE GOD
Never stop praying.

1 Thessalonians 5:17
We must get to where we can say, "Lord, if You said it in Your word, I believe it!" Proverbs 3:5–6 instructs us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not unto our own understanding. In other words, turn off the voice of your own understanding and trust God's word from your heart. The scripture says to acknowledge God in all your ways, so everywhere you go, you just say, "Lord, you're coming with me." Acknowledge that He is with you.

Just like the Lord was with Moses, I know the Lord is with me. My wife and I always acknowledge that God is with us. We pray over our house before we leave and over the airplane every time I fly it. We pray over our cars, the headquarters, all our staff, everyone who attends our meetings, and everything. When we pray, we agree, believing with faith like the centurion. Acknowledging that God is with us means inviting Him into everything we do and coming into agreement with Him. When we do that, whether it's coming or going, Proverbs 3:6 says that He will direct our path. So as soon as we invite Him in, we start receiving guidance, insight, and discernment. It's off the charts! Why? Because we're bringing Him into every situation.

God has control over our lives if we give it to Him, but He doesn't control the world. Ephesians 2:2 describes the prince of the power of the air, the ruler of darkness, as the god of this world. So the god of this world (small g, not big G) is the ruler of darkness. However, God is our God; He is the One that rules over us and His kingdom. If we acknowledge Him, we bring Him into our situation, and He will direct our paths. We must trust God with all our hearts, having faith like the centurion. Like Jesus, we must focus on our assignments and keep our appointments with God.

PRAYER:
Father, thank You for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Your knowledge. I pray that the Holy Spirit will help everyone understand the revelation that has been taught in this short time. Help us to keep our appointments with You, to pray, and encourage one another. Thank You, Lord, for helping everyone in their finances, relationships, and bodies. I declare that Your healing is manifesting in their hearts, bodies, and minds. Thank You, Lord, for breaking every bondage and demonic attack. Thank You, Lord, for shining Your light of revelation upon everyone, in Jesus's name, amen.
